Dates for the 2011-2012 Mars Rover Teacher Training Workshop and the Mars Rover Model Celebration 2012 Have been set. The Mars Rover Teacher Training Workshop will be held Sept. 17, 2011 from 9 am to 4 pm in Room 232 Phillip G. Hoffman Hall, UH main campus. Cost will be $20 and will include lunch. Registration is not yet open. We plan to open it no later than Aug. 1. The Mars Rover Model Celebration 2012 will take place on Saturday, January 28th in the Houston Room, University Center, UH (main campus). Elementary school teams will compete from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and middle school teams will compete from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Entry is not yet open. We plan to open it no later than Aug. 1.
